The successful horses of the Jucking Hanoverian dam line, founded in 1925 by Hellmann in Gerden, currently come from the Rhineland. In the 1960s, the branch of St.Pr.St. Eris by Ehrenschild/Assing II found its breeding home in the Rhineland. This Hanoverian dam line made an impressive return to Hanover, not only with the 2021 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, Fidertanz by Fidermark out of St.Pr.St. Reine Freude (breeder Hermann Schult, Hünxe).
The three daughters of St.Pr.St. Reine Freude, St.Pr.St. Quintera von Quaterback, St.Pr.St. Amore Mia von Ampere, and Vaiana von Veneno won the family competition at the Herwart von der Decken-Show 2021, and this year Vaiana again achieved 1b in the dressage class with daughters by Flashbang and Bonjour.
Vaiana seems to be developing into a particularly valuable mare, as she is also the dam of Escaneno by Escamillo. At the age of five, he became Hanoverian Vice Champion in the dressage horses in Verden with Jacob Schenk. At the age of six, he returned to Verden with Lisa Lindner in the saddle for even greater things. Last August, the pair reached the final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, where they placed eighth. At this year’s dressage licensing, Escaneno, as a newcomer, together with the proven Vitalis, represents the largest group of offspring with six approved sons.
Vaiana is also presenting a breeding candidate this year in the form of Kopfnummer 58 von Escanto PS, who is more than just a half-brother to Escaneno.
