France’s best young dressage horses were crowned at the ‘Grande Semaine Dressage’, the big dressage week in Fontainebleau. The championship for six-year-olds was a Hannoveraner triumph: Fiadora by Fürsten Look/Valentino (breeder: Dr Michael Lühs, Wagenfeld) took the title with Collard Maxime by more than three points. The dark bay had been awarded a If Prize at the 2021 Herwart von der Decken Show and ranked Ic with her two sisters in the family competition. Four months later, she was sold to France as the top-priced horse at the January auction. As a five-year-old, Fiadora then competed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo.
The Don Index/Don Vino daughter Desiree Majishan (breeder: Bernhard and Johannes Achter, Haren) becam Vice Champion. Like Fiadora, she found a new owner in the Niedersachsenhalle. She moved into Swiss ownership at the July auction 2022. She is currently in reserve for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses at the beginning of September.
Thor de Hus by Toto Jr./Don Juan de Hus (breeder: Xavier Marie, Petit Mars/FRA) finished in bronze with Jessica Michel-Botton in the saddle. He will also be travelling to Ermelo for France.
