The Hanoverian dam line of Paninka, which originated in 1899 at Ropers in Bützfleth, stands for performance horses in sport horse breeding. The branch of Wenita by Waldhorn/Carolus (breeder Elisabeth Mertens, Neuenkirchen), which moved to Oldenburg at the end of the 1980s, is particularly successful.
This branch also repeatedly produces successful horses for Hanoverian breeding, such as the Grande prize winner and Grand Prix successful Foundation by Fidertanz/De Vito (breeder Gerd Pigge, Lastrup), whose third dam is Wenita. Not only Foundation is successful in Grand Prix competitions, but also his full brothers Crystal Friendship (Anabel Balkenhol) and Flavio (Ruben Mengual Reig).
The second dam of these three Grand Prix horses is Weniga by Andiamo out of Wenita. She is also the dam of two Grand Prix horses. Lord von Laurentio celebrated his successes with Kathleen Keller and Queeny von Quattro B with Victoria Michalke.
Queeny, in turn, is the full sister to Weniga’s Queeny von Quattro B out of Weniga. One of her sons, Daniel’s Jack by Danone, is currently successful up to Intermedaire I with Karina Ess, and another son, Feinsten, will be presented at this year’s dressage stallion licensing with head number 64.
