Medals at the European Eventing Championships for Young Riders and Juniors

Hannah Busch and the Hannoveraner mare Crystall-Annabell by Canterbury/Perceive Arroga xx (breeder: Susanne Rundshagen, Panten) achieved a start-to-finish victory in the Young Riders class. The pair was already in the lead after the dressage, was able to afford a time fault in the cross-country, and even a knocked-down pole in the final show jumping did not prevent them from winning. The pair had already won the bronze medal at the German Youth Championships earlier this year.

As an individual rider, Pia Sophie Schreiber secured the silver medal in the Junior class. She was riding Cliemann, a Carridam/Perigueux son bred by Ulrike von Stietencron, Emmertal. This year’s German vice-champions worked their way up from eighth place in the dressage to the medal ranks with a clear cross-country and show jumping. Their fast clear round secured them the vice-title ahead of the third-placed pair, who were tied on points
