Two mare performance tests and mare shows were organized in mid-June by the Danish Hannoveraner horse breeding club “Hannoveraner Avlsforeningen i Danmark”. In addition, the breeders had the opportunity to show their first foals at a show and foal registration. In bad weather but in a great atmosphere, the kick-off took place near Copenhagen at Stutteri G. owned by Helene Geervliet, chairwoman of the breeding club. Five mares took their mare performance test, including the four-year-old Hann.Pr.A./vet+ Desirée by Danone out of Fortuna by Fidertanz (breeder: Annie Olivia Eysturoy, Faroe Islands, owner.: Stutteri Just, Gram). The big-framed bay already participated in last year’s Herwart von der Decken Show for the Regional Society International and was awarded the If Prize. Under saddle, she showed good dispositions in all three basic gaits with an outstanding canter and good rideability. She received an Ia Prize and was singled out as the best mare. Another Ia Prize was awarded to the two-year-old Indiana Dream by Ibiza out of Farah Diba by Fürstenball/Laurino bred and owned by Mikala Bagge, Lynge. With a wonderful type, this young mare was already well developed and very correct in her limbs. The gold medal for the best foal went to the Donkey Boss son Dane G. out of De Vie G. by Don Olymbrio/Don Schufro bred and owned by Stutteri G. Lynge.
Stutteri EVO in Vejen was the venue for the Danish Hannoveraner breeding event in Jutland for the first time. Here the three-year-old Fairly’s Fairy Dancer by Fynch Hatton out of Sandhusets Diva by Zardin Firfod/Donnergraf, bred and owned by Heidi Halberg, Blommenslyst, won. The young mare already showed herself to be very balanced and rideable under saddle. She received an Ia Prize and the candidacy for the Hannoveraner Premium. She was followed in the ranking by the only two-year-old mare. Fürstin Sensation by Fürstenball out of Hann.Pr. She’s the one by Sensation/Blue Hors Leredo (breeder and woner: Sara Jensen, Vejen) was awarded the Ia Prize for her quality. The powerful hind leg in trot and the significant riding horse points were particularly pleasing.
The foals were judged separately for colts and fillies. The colt winner was Believe it JK by Baron out of Fine and Magic by For Romance/Danone (breeder and owner: Stutteri Just, Gram). He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Regional Society International. Best filly was Bon Dior, a May-born daughter of Bon Joker out of Delicia Daylight by Danone II/De Noir (breeder and owner: Nissen family, Aabenraa).
